Jesse Livermore was probably the most successful stock trade of all, having made and lost several fortunes over the course of his life. Unfortunately he didn’t know how to turn it off.
Livermore’s writing style coupled with his historical anecdotes and insights make an enjoyable read. An excellent commentary on market timing, money management and emotional control. Unfortunately Livermore’s original editions are out of print collectors items and prohibitively expensive so you will have to put up with Richard Smitten’s indulgences.
